My First Taste of Big People Food

A few days ago, I got my first taste of real food (sort of)! Mom and Dad let me try rice cereal for the first time. Here is a picture of me sitting in my Bumbo booster seat.

And here is me making a mess with the rice cereal!

Hercules and I have become even better friends since I started eating the rice cereal. After I am done, he offers to help clean me off!

Some New Shades

Mom, Dad and I like to take walks along the Strand on the weekends, so they picked up some new sunglasses for me. What do you think?

Here is a picture of all three of us (and by this time I have ditched the hat):

Next time, we hope to bring Hercules along as well!

High School Hoops

In a span of one week in early January, I attended TWO basketball games! First, I got to see LMU defeat Cal State Bakersfield for their first win of the season. Then, a few days later, I went to my first High School Basketball game. My Dad and Mom are good friends with the head coach, Steve Wachs, and his wife Shirley; Coach Wachs used to be an assistant with LMU. I am friends with Leia (their daughter) who was born just a few weeks before me!

Here is a picture of all four of us after the game:

Coach Wachs' Brentwood High team beat New Crossroads that night. I can't wait to go to another game!

My First Christmas

My first Christmas was great! When I woke up on Christmas morning, I came into our living room to find a whole bunch of packages under the tree. Here is a picture of me in my Baby Einstein exer-saucer.

Later that morning, Grandma and Grandpa came over with even more presents! Here is a picture of me with them in front of our Christmas tree.

Later that week, my Aunt Michele and Cousin Ashley stopped by. This was the first time I got to meet Cousin Ashley, and I hope to see both of them again soon.

I really enjoyed seeing everyone. I wish it was Christmas every day of the year!

Christmas at Dad's Office

Right before Chrismas, I got a chance to see where my Dad works. His department was decorated like a Winter Wonderland, with homemade snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, and Christmas lights strung everywhere. His department even came in First Place in his company's annual holiday decorating contest! Below is a picture of Mom, Dad and me at the MOCA office.

I also got meet some nice people from my Dad's marketing team! From left to right below are John, Dana, Heather, Myron and Brian. That's Dad and me in front (I was distracted by some of the cool holiday lights).

It was fun meeting everyone, and I can't wait to go back to visit again soon.

Holiday Fireworks at the Beach

Back in December, Mom and Dad took me to watch the fireworks from the pier. It is a holiday tradition in the South Bay, but this was the first time for me, of course! Here is a picture with my Dad and me in front of the big Christmas tree in the plaza in front of the pier.

And, here is the main attraction! The fireworks were really neat, and I cannot wait to see some more (my parents say I'll probably have to wait until Independence Day in July).

Afterwards, I fell asleep in the stroller on the way home. It was a big night for me, and I was tired out, but it was worth it.
